Heather is currently the head coach for the high school boys and girls teams. She graduated from Gresham High School where she swam and played water polo. An All-American and Oregon State MVP, her team won the State Championship and she set the conference record in the 50 free. Heather attended UC Davis where the Aggies captured the National Championship and she was a 4-time All-American. She was captain of the USA Jr. National team, played at 3 Olympic Festivals and participated in 2 World Cups, The Olympic Year Tournament, and World Championships. She now competes in Master’s water polo and coaches kids to work hard, learn teamwork, discipline and have FUN!
Mike played at Newport Harbor High School under water polo Hall of Fame coach Bill Barnett. He competed against Olympians Tony Azevedo, Adam Wright, and Ryan Bailey.
Mike has coached for PCWP for the last five years and currently works with the JV and 14U teams.
Heather is our head Youth Coach. She has started many of the players now on our Varsity team!
Heather is an "old-school" water polo player from California. She started playing in high school, where she learned her long-time swimming skills could be used in the best sport in the world. She played with the Modesto/Stanislaus club team for Junior Olympics and Junior Nationals, winning gold, silver, and bronze medals over several summers. She played at UC Davis for several seasons and previously coached at Santa Barbara High School.
Scott played D1 water polo at University of Indiana. He started out a swimmer, but moved to water polo after 1 year in college because he found it much more fun! He captained the men's water polo team at Indiana and says if you can play this sport, you can do anything.

With a strong background in competitive water polo and a passion for developing athletes, McKenzie brings both experience and leadership to the pool deck. A former team captain and All-CIF honoree at Murrieta Mesa High School, she continued to play at a high level for six years, competing with Murrieta Mesa, Riverside City College, Riverside Water Polo Club, and CHAWP Water Polo. After her playing career, she returned to Riverside Water Polo for a year as a coach, where she focused on player development and building strong fundamentals in young athletes. Whether in the water or on the deck, McKenzie is committed to fostering growth, confidence, and a love for the game in every athlete she works with.
Gavin plays on our Park City Varsity and Club team. He's been in water polo for 6 years, training year-round. He's been selected for ODP Regional team 3 times, and competed with Junior Olympic teams from Utah, California, and Colorado. A former football player, he's now a USAWP Academic All-American who loves teaching kids how to play water polo.
